(Election) The announcement for District Council and Panchayat Samiti elections has been made. Elections for 12 District Councils and 125 Panchayat Samitis in the state have been announced, with voting to take place on February 5 and results to be announced on February 7.

Against this backdrop, today is the last day to withdraw nominations for the district council and panchayat samiti elections. Voting will take place on February 5 for the 12 district councils of Raigad, Ratnagiri, Sindhudurg, Pune, Satara, Sangli, Solapur, Kolhapur, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Parbhani, Dharashiv, and Latur, and the 125 panchayat samitis under them.

The deadline to withdraw election nominations is until 3 PM today. It is reported that the final candidate list and election symbols will be distributed at 3:30 PM.
