Ujjwala Thite, the candidate from the Ajit Pawar faction of the Nationalist Congress Party, had filed a nomination for the Angar Nagar Panchayat President post, which is closely watched by Solapur district. Ujjwala Thite's application was rejected due to the absence of a proposer’s signature.

The deadline for withdrawing applications is until the 21st. Among these, two applications have been deemed valid for the position of Anagar Municipal President: Prajakta Patil, daughter-in-law of BJP's Rajan Patil, and independent candidate Saraswati Shinde. The hearing on the application of Ujjwala Thite, candidate for the position of Anagar Municipal Council President, will be held today, and it will be important to see what decision the court will make.
