(Maharashtra Weather Update) Due to the heavy rainfall over the past few days, there has been significant damage to farmers in many parts of the state. Flood conditions have developed in several villages. For the past few days, heavy rain showers have been pouring along with cloudy weather, disrupting daily life.
Rain is going to become active again in Maharashtra. A warning of heavy rain has been issued in many districts of the state from September 27 to September 30, 2025. The State Emergency Operations Center has issued instructions to all district administrations in anticipation of possible heavy rainfall.
The weather department has issued a heavy rainfall warning for Konkan, Central Maharashtra, and Marathwada until September 30, with the possibility of urban flooding due to heavy rains in Mumbai, Thane, Palghar, Raigad, Ratnagiri, and Sindhudurg districts. Citizens are advised to remain alert, as stated by the State Emergency Operations Center.
