(Mumbai Water Supply :) A 3-day water cut will be implemented in Mumbai starting today. It is reported that a 10% water cut will be in effect from October 7 to October 9, 2025.

Due to the planned upgrade of the electric meter in the 100-kilowatt power station at the water purification center supplying water to the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation, this water cut decision has been made.

A 10 percent water cut will be implemented in the entire operational area of the city divisions A, B, E, F South, and F North, as well as in the entire area of the eastern suburbs' M East and M West divisions. Additionally, water cuts will be in effect in the L division (Kurla East) of the eastern suburbs, in the N division at Vikhroli, Ghatkopar, and Ghatkopar East, in the S division at Bhandup, Nahur, Kanjurmarg, and Vikhroli East, and in the T division at Mulund East and West.

Therefore, citizens are requested to cooperate by using water sparingly, as per the appeal made by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation administration.
