(Zilla Parishad Election) Voting was completed on the 7th for 12 district councils and 125 panchayat samitis in the state. Voting took place yesterday from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM, and today, Monday the 9th, counting will take place and results will be declared.

Along with this, the counting of votes will start at 10 AM today, on the 9th. There were 7,438 candidates in the fray for this election. It is reported that an average of 68.28 percent voting was recorded in 12 districts. Strict police arrangements will be deployed outside the counting centers to maintain law and order.

This includes the districts of Raigad, Ratnagiri, Sindhudurg, Pune, Satara, Sangli, Kolhapur, Solapur, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Parbhani, Dharashiv, and Latur. The administration has made thorough preparations for the counting, and now it will be important to see who will celebrate today.
