In the backdrop of the Mumbai Municipal Corporation elections, the movements of the Nationalist Congress Party (Ajit Pawar faction) have gained momentum, with senior leader and former minister Nawab Malik being given an important responsibility by being appointed as the chairman of the Mumbai Election Management Committee. This appointment was announced by Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar and State President MP Sunil Tatkare. The upcoming Mumbai Municipal Corporation election will be fought through the Election Management Committee led by Nawab Malik. This committee will remain active for the party's strategic preparation and election planning.

The committee includes President Nawab Malik along with Shivajirao Nalawade and Siddharth Kamble as Mumbai working presidents, MLA Sana Malik-Shaikh, former MLA Zeeshan Siddiqui, State General Secretary Santosh Dhuvali, State Vice President Bhaskar Vichare, State Spokesperson Sanjay Tatkare, and Raju Ghuge. Additionally, as invited members, South District President Mahendra Pansare, North-West District President Ajay Vichare, North-Central District President Arshad Amir, North District President Indrapal Singh, and North-East District President Suresh Bhalerao have also been appointed.

These appointments are expected to give new momentum to the Nationalist Congress Party's election campaign in Mumbai. This committee will play an important role in strengthening the party's organizational strength and campaign machinery for the upcoming municipal elections.
