Outrage is mounting across Maharashtra after the tragic death of Tanisha Bhise, a pregnant woman who reportedly died due to denial of timely treatment at Dinanath Mangeshkar Hospital in Pune. The deceased Tanisha Bhise was the wife of BJP MLA Amit Gorkhe's personal assistant Sushant Bhise. After the labor started, she was admitted to the hospital for treatment. However, the woman died after demanding a lot of money and not being able to pay. Due to this, the hospital administration is being blamed. Many political leaders have also expressed their anger.

According to reports, Tanisha Bhise was admitted to the hospital after experiencing labor pains. Despite being in a critical condition, the hospital allegedly demanded ₹10 lakh in advance and refused to begin treatment without full payment. As a result, the woman gave birth to twins but tragically passed away shortly after.

He further wrote, "Although the hospital administration has expressed its views, appropriate action will be taken after considering all the relevant factors. The government has understood the sentiments of the individuals, institutions and organizations protesting in this matter and strict action will be taken against those found guilty as per the findings of the investigation. Deputy CM Pawar revealed that the Health Department has formed a committee of expert doctors to investigate the incident thoroughly. He also mentioned issuing personal instructions to the District Magistrate to conduct the probe urgently, transparently, and impartially.

“Although the hospital administration has shared its side, appropriate action will be taken after reviewing all relevant facts. The government is fully aware of the emotions and concerns of the individuals and organizations protesting this incident,” Pawar added.
