In the Gudi Padwa meeting, MNS president Raj Thackeray had shown a disturbing picture of the Ganga river while commenting on the holy bath in the Mahakumbh. In response to this, former corporator and Shiv Sena leader Samadhan Saravankar put up a grand banner in front of the Shiv Sena Bhavan this morning, detailing the features of the Mahakumbh. After taking an aggressive stance on this, the MNS took down the banner within a few hours and gave a befitting reply to Saravankar. The municipal administration took down the banner.

Samadhan Saravankar's role on banner advertising

Shiv Sena party leader Samadhan Saravankar had mentioned a text on the banner that shows the characteristics of the Mahakumbh that came after 144 years. At this time, Saravankar said, "Hindus are united, when Hindus are united, they are targeted. Hindus are misrepresented, Hindus are hurt, some leaders try to create obstacles in this. But Hindu unity should remain like this. If we keep changing our role, the public is smart. The roles of Marathi, Hindu, Gujarati are changed. Marathi voters have become very smart. The leaders they have are fighting for the Marathi language. But have their children been educated in Marathi?, the topic is getting lost. When elections come, vote politics is done. Santosh Dhuri has become a big leader but he is not yet eligible for a ticket. Every time, such topics are raised on Gudi Padwa. What is to be achieved by repeatedly criticizing the Kumbh Mela?", alleged Samadhan Saravankar at this time.
