Dhangekar has alleged that while Mohol was the mayor, he used the car of Badekar Builder, which is related to the Jain Board land transaction case, and he has tweeted photos of the car to make this allegation. Ravindra Dhangekar tweeted, saying, "Many pieces of evidence have been seen by Pune residents in the past few days showing the involvement of Pune city's MP and Union Minister Muralidhar Mohol in the Jain Hostel purchase case. However, they still claim that all these things are coincidences."

As mayor, he used a white Innova Crysta with an official government board of the Pune Municipal Corporation. The number of that car was Mh12 SW 0909. This car did not belong to Mohol nor was it an official vehicle of the Pune Municipal Corporation. This car belonged to Bhadekar Builder from Kothrud."
