In the match held on October 2, the Indian women's team defeated South Africa to become world champions. The ICC has announced the Team of the Tournament for the 2025 Women's World Cup. Three players from the title-winning Indian women's team have been included in this team. Three players from the runner-up South Africa team have also secured a place in the top 11. England's Nat Sciver Brunt has been selected as the 12th player in the ICC tournament.
