(Kashmir) A terrorist attack occurred in Pahalgam on April 22, 2025. Following this, a decision was made to close tourist sites in Kashmir and Jammu. It is now reported that 7 tourist sites in Kashmir have been reopened.
It is understood that a decision to open tourist destinations was made in a meeting held on Friday under the chairmanship of Jammu and Kashmir's Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha.
These seven tourist destinations include Aadu Valley, Rafting Point Yanner, Akkad Park, Padshahi Park, Kaman Post, Dagan Top in Jammu, Ghaggar, and Shiv Cave, but it is reported that Pahalgam is not included in this list. Therefore, Pahalgam will remain closed for now.
