Amit Thackeray Breaks Silence on Alliance

Speculations about a possible alliance between Raj Thackeray's Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) and Uddhav Thackeray's Shiv Sena have been gaining momentum in political circles over the past few days. Amid growing discussions and mixed reactions from leaders of both parties, MNS leader Amit Thackeray has now responded, offering a candid take on the matter.

Speaking to the media, Amit Thackeray emphasized the need for direct dialogue between the two Thackeray brothers rather than engaging in public statements. “I believe the two brothers should speak to each other directly. Nothing will happen just by talking in front of the media or through newspapers,” he said.

He further added, “They have each other's phone numbers. If they genuinely want to come together, they should make that call. I have no objection if both brothers unite. In fact, whatever Rajsaheb wants is what I wish too.”

This statement comes shortly after Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Aaditya Thackeray also commented on the potential alliance, suggesting growing internal discussions. However, no formal confirmation has been made by either party leadership.

The remarks from Amit Thackeray reflect both openness and pragmatism, highlighting that media speculation alone cannot shape political alliances — only meaningful dialogue can. As the political landscape of Maharashtra continues to evolve ahead of the upcoming elections, this possible reunion remains a closely watched development.
