The Maharashtra government will provide the curriculum to Marathi schools in America, assured the state's Information Technology and Cultural Affairs Minister Ashish Shelar. Ashish Shelar, who is on a tour of America, met with the officials of the Maharashtra Mandal running Marathi schools in the Bay Area of San Francisco, California.

To instill 'Marathi values' in the new generation by teaching children the Marathi language, culture, history, and folk traditions of Maharashtra, Marathi people have come together here with a spirit of service to run the school. This school has been operating since 2005, and approximately 300 students are receiving education in Marathi here.

In America, there are more than 50 schools that are Marathi, and the Marathi people here are running these schools. If the Maharashtra government recommends to the local administration in America and provides the curriculum, it will be convenient to teach the Marathi language, conduct exams, and issue certificates to students, as pointed out by the officials of these schools during this visit.

Meanwhile, regarding this, Minister Ashish Shelar assured the Maharashtra Mandal in America that after discussing with Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and the state's School Education Minister Dada Bhuse, the Maharashtra government will definitely provide the necessary cooperation, recommendation, and curriculum.
