Star Airlines, a private carrier, has received official clearance from the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) to operate flights on this route. The approval has accelerated preparations, and final scheduling and ticketing details are expected to be announced soon.
The airline will operate a 78-seater aircraft, offering a smooth and efficient travel experience for commuters. The service is expected to be a game-changer for Solapur, greatly benefiting sectors like industry, trade, education, and healthcare by significantly cutting down travel time to Mumbai.
Just a few weeks ago, Fly91 launched a Solapur-Goa flight service, which was inaugurated by Minister of State for Civil Aviation, Murlidhar Mohol. Now, the upcoming Solapur-Mumbai connection marks another major milestone in enhancing Solapur’s air connectivity.
