Addressing a massive crowd at the ‘Awaaz Marathicha…’ victory rally held at the Dome Auditorium in Worli, MNS President Raj Thackeray delivered a powerful message urging Marathi-speaking people to remain united and vigilant against future political strategies aimed at dividing them.
In a speech charged with emotion and political foresight, Thackeray emphasized that the rally was not about any political party but a collective movement of the Marathi identity.
“This is not a rally of any political party. It is a rally of Marathi people. Today, all of us are standing together as one Marathi community,” he declared.
Thackeray warned that the ruling establishment, shaken by the show of Marathi unity, would likely resort to caste-based politics to break this solidarity.
“Mark my words. Now they will play the caste card. They will try to divide you by caste and prevent you from coming together again. Don’t fall into their trap,” he cautioned.
His statement was met with loud applause from the audience, which included thousands of enthusiastic MNS and Shiv Sena (UBT) supporters.
Raj Thackeray concluded his address with an emotional appeal to the Marathi people to carry forward the legacy of Balasaheb Thackeray, the founder of Shiv Sena.
“Balasaheb’s dream must be realized again. A united Maharashtra with a strong Marathi identity—that is what we must work towards,” he said, closing his speech to thunderous applause.
The rally, which also featured a joint appearance with Uddhav Thackeray after nearly two decades, has been hailed as a defining moment in the state's political and cultural narrative, sending a strong message of Marathi unity and resistance to divisive tactics.
