A tragic road accident shook the Kala Ganapati Temple area in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar on Thursday morning. At around 9:30 am, a speeding car lost control and ran over several pedestrians, leaving four to five people dead and several others seriously injured. The shocking incident was captured on CCTV, which is now a key part of the police investigation.
According to preliminary reports, the car was traveling from CIDCO towards the TV Center and was on the service road when the driver suddenly lost control of the vehicle. The car veered off course and crashed into pedestrians who were standing near the Kala Ganapati Temple.
Eyewitnesses described the scene as chaotic, with bystanders rushing to help the victims. Locals quickly transported the injured to a nearby hospital. Some of them are reported to be in critical condition.
