Operation Sindoor was reportedly launched by India in retaliation for the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, on April 22. Under this mission, Indian forces are said to have targeted and destroyed terrorist camps located in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK). Additionally, India is believed to have given a strong and strategic response to a drone attack carried out by Pakistan.
According to government sources, both the Ministry of External Affairs and the Ministry of Defence have periodically briefed the nation on developments related to the India-Pakistan conflict. A ceasefire agreement between the two nations remains in place, but India has continued to take a resolute stand against terrorism in all forms.
As part of a broader diplomatic outreach, the central government has formed seven all-party delegations. These delegations are expected to visit key friendly nations in the coming weeks to communicate India’s firm stance on terrorism and share the nation’s recent actions and intentions. The goal is to build international consensus and expose the truth behind cross-border terrorism.
Dr. Shrikant Shinde, who is a member of one of these delegations, stated: “The government will soon present the truth of Operation Sindoor to the world. This is not just about military action, but about India’s national resolve to eliminate terrorism at its roots.”
This announcement comes amid heightened alert along the Line of Control and growing global focus on South Asia’s security dynamics.
Further details on the operation and international diplomatic engagements are awaited from official sources.
