Stand-up comedian Kunal Kamra sang a song against Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde. The song is going viral on social media and Kunal Kamra is once again in the midst of a controversy. A song he did against Eknath Shinde has created a controversy and now the Shiv Sena has become very aggressive against Kunal Kamra.
Mla Murji Patel has filed a complaint against Kamra at MIDC police station in Andheri. We demand immediate arrest of Kunal Kamra and strict action against him. Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray has reacted to the development.
Uddhav Thackeray said, "They can be used to insult Shivaji Maharaj, but they do not insult traitors. Kunal Kamra has penned a true song. We are calling them traitors today. Thieves are traitors. They did not vandalise Shiv Sainiks. The wolf people vandalised because their leader was insulted. Kamara has expressed public sentiment. How does freedom of expression work for traitors? The chief minister doesn't care. It's about reducing police brutality".
Uddhav Thackeray thanks Ajit Pawar
Speaking on the issue, Ajit Pawar had said, "No one should go beyond the law and rules. The Constitution has given everyone the right to speak, but only those who have the right to speak should speak," Thackeray said, thanking Ajit Pawar and adding, "I thank him for his statement. But they have to control the people around them. Who gave Nagpur's supari? Who gave the supari of Aurangzeb's tomb? Looking at his work, it seems that he idolises us. They should decide whether to run the legacy of Anaji Pant or Sambhaji Maharaj. How can there be riots in Nagpur when you are the Home Minister?".
