A cyclonic circulation has formed in the upper layers over South Odisha, and an east-west trough has formed from North Karnataka to the southern coast of Andhra Pradesh. Additionally, a low-pressure area is likely to form in the northern part of the Bay of Bengal, which is expected to increase the intensity of rain in the state until July 27.

An 'Orange Alert' has been issued for the districts of Raigad, Ratnagiri, and Sindhudurg from Tuesday to Friday. In North Konkan, the intensity of the rain is expected to be comparatively less. However, in Mumbai, Thane, and Palghar, heavy rain may occur in isolated areas on Wednesday and Thursday. Thane has an 'Orange Alert' on Thursday, while heavy rain is forecasted in Palghar on Wednesday and Thursday.
