A big relief news for Mumbaikars
Now a single ticket for Metro, Bus, Monorail, and Local Travel
'Mumbai One App' Launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi
Mumbai One App: A big relief news has emerged for Mumbaikars. Yesterday, on October 8, the 'Mumbai OneTicket' new digital mobility app was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. With this app, citizens traveling in Mumbai will no longer need to buy separate tickets for buses, local trains, metro, monorail, and Navi Mumbai metro. A single QR code ticket can be used for all these transport services from one app.
The 'Mumbai OneTicket' app is based on the Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC) national digital platform, and it includes Mumbai Metro lines 1, 2A, 3, and 7, Monorail, Navi Mumbai Metro, Mumbai Local, and various municipal bus services. Passengers need to download the app from Google Play Store or Apple App Store, sign up, select their travel destination, and after making the payment, scan the received QR code at the metro or bus gate to start their journey.
This app also provides real-time traffic updates, alternative routes, maps, and emergency SOS facilities. The 'Mumbai OneTicket' app will make travel in Mumbai more convenient and digital, saving citizens' time.
