Overcome with emotion, Himanshi Narwal said, “My husband was in the defence forces, and when he joined, his dream was to bring peace to the country. He never wanted innocent lives to be lost. He stood against hatred and terror.”
Referring to the Indian Army’s action under Operation Sindoor, she added, “His feelings are reflected in this operation. The government cannot and should not tolerate terrorism and hatred. India must not stop here. This is just the beginning of eradicating terrorism from the country.”
As she fought back tears, Himanshi added that no one should have to endure the pain she is experiencing. “I don’t think anyone should go through the mental state I am in right now,” she said, her voice filled with grief but firm in resolve.
Her statement has resonated deeply with citizens and leaders alike, serving as a reminder of the human cost of terrorism and the unwavering spirit of the families who stand behind the uniformed personnel of India’s armed forces.
