In a bold and strategic military response to the recent terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir, India has launched Operation Sindoor, executing targeted air strikes on nine terrorist camps located in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK). In a new development, the first official image of the strike has now been released, offering a glimpse into the precision of the mission.

The operation was carried out following a terrorist attack on tourists in the Baisaran Valley of Pahalgam, which left the entire nation in shock. The attack, which occurred in the scenic region of Jammu and Kashmir, triggered urgent security reviews and strong demands for a retaliatory response.

According to official sources, the Indian Army, Navy, and Air Force jointly conducted missile and air strikes at 1:30 a.m. on nine strategic locations where terrorist outfits were allegedly planning further attacks against India. The targeted camps reportedly belonged to extremist groups such as Jaish-e-Mohammed, Hizbul Mujahideen, and Lashkar-e-Taiba.

The air strikes were carried out 15 days after the Pahalgam attack, demonstrating swift strategic planning and execution. The mission—code-named Operation Sindoor—was closely monitored by Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself, underscoring the high-level coordination involved.

Following the strikes, there has been considerable upheaval across Pakistan, with heightened tensions along the Line of Control. The release of the first photograph from the operation has further intensified the global spotlight on the incident, showcasing India’s advanced military capabilities and its firm stance against terrorism.
