In the aftermath of the recent terrorist attack on tourists in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pahalgam region, India has launched Operation Sindoor, targeting terrorist camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK). Now, political reactions have begun to emerge, with AIMIM leader Asaduddin Owaisi issuing a strong statement in support of the Indian Armed Forces.
The terror attack, which took place in the Baisaran Valley of Pahalgam, shocked the nation and ignited calls for a decisive response. In reaction, the Indian Army, Navy, and Air Force carried out coordinated air and missile strikes on nine terrorist camps identified as launchpads for planned attacks on Indian soil. The operation was reportedly executed at 1:30 a.m., just 15 days after the Pahalgam attack.
In his first reaction to the operation, Asaduddin Owaisi stated:
“I welcome the surgical strikes carried out by our defense forces on terrorist bases in Pakistan. Pakistan should be made to pay such a price that there will never be another attack again. Pakistan’s terrorist infrastructure should be completely destroyed. Jai Hind!”
