This visit is particularly noteworthy as it includes historic milestones. From June 15 to 16, PM Modi will be in Cyprus, marking the first visit by an Indian Prime Minister to the country in over two decades. He is visiting at the invitation of Cypriot President Nikos Christodoulides, and this will also be PM Modi's first-ever visit to Cyprus. The visit is expected to strengthen bilateral ties, focusing on cooperation in trade, defense, and education.

Following his Cyprus visit, on June 16 and 17, Prime Minister Modi will participate in the G7 Summit in Kananaskis, Canada, at the invitation of Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney. This will be Modi’s sixth participation in a G7 Summit. Key topics on the agenda include energy security, the AI-energy nexus, emerging technologies, and quantum computing. PM Modi is also expected to hold several bilateral meetings with world leaders on the sidelines of the summit.

In the final leg of the tour, on June 18, Prime Minister Modi will travel to Croatia, becoming the first Indian Prime Minister to visit the country. During his visit, he will hold high-level bilateral discussions with Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenković, aimed at deepening cooperation in areas such as pharmaceuticals, digital technology, and cultural exchange.

Prime Minister Modi is scheduled to return to India on June 19. This three-nation tour is seen as a significant step in reinforcing India’s global engagement and diplomatic outreach in Europe and North America.
