Fast bowler Yash Dayal, who was instrumental in Royal Challengers Bangalore's (RCB) triumphant IPL 2025 campaign, is now facing serious allegations. A woman has accused him of mental, physical, and financial exploitation over a period of five years, under the false promise of marriage.
An FIR has been registered, and the complainant has also submitted a formal grievance to the office of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, seeking justice. In her complaint, the woman stated, “I was in a relationship with Yash Dayal for the past five years. Both our families had met and were aware of the relationship. Despite this, I was subjected to continuous physical, mental, and financial abuse.” She further claimed that Yash gained her trust through the promise of marriage, leading to a long-term relationship.
The woman has reportedly submitted chats, video call recordings, screenshots, and other digital evidence to support her claims. She has also alleged that Dayal had similar relationships with other women, and she is currently facing financial and social hardship as a result of the prolonged exploitation.
Feeling ignored and cornered, the complainant ultimately approached the Chief Minister’s Office to ensure action is taken. As of now, neither Yash Dayal nor the RCB team management has issued an official statement on the matter. The police have confirmed that an investigation is underway, and appropriate legal steps will follow based on the findings.
Yash Dayal began his IPL career with Gujarat Titans in 2022, a year when the team clinched the title. He joined RCB in 2024, and his performance in the 2025 season was widely praised as he played a key role in helping RCB secure their long-awaited IPL title. This controversy has now cast a shadow over his cricketing achievements, and all eyes are on the next legal developments in the case.
