As Air India continues to face criticism for flight delays and cancellations following a recent aviation mishap, Member of Parliament Supriya Sule has voiced her frustration over the airline's poor handling of passenger communication and service.
In a strongly worded social media post, Sule shared her experience with Air India flight AI 2971 from Delhi to Pune, which was delayed for more than three hours without any communication or assistance from the airline staff.
“I am travelling from Delhi to Pune on Air India flight AI 2971. The flight has been delayed for more than 3 hours. However, no contact has been made with the passengers, no update has been provided, and no assistance has been offered. Very bad service,” she wrote.
Sule’s criticism comes at a time when Air India is under scrutiny following a series of technical failures and flight disruptions. Just a day earlier, the airline cancelled seven international flights, citing safety and technical concerns. The delays and cancellations have left hundreds of passengers stranded, leading to widespread dissatisfaction.
In her post, Sule further remarked:
“Such delays and mismanagement have become routine in Air India. Passengers are stranded and helpless. This indifference is unacceptable.”
