'Umid Mall' to be Established in Ten Districts, Decision in State Cabinet Meeting

Under the leadership of Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, a state cabinet meeting was held today, July 29. Eight important decisions were ratified in this meeting, including decisions from the Law and Justice, Revenue, Rural Development, Water Resources, Cooperation, and Marketing departments. Meanwhile, the 'Chief Minister Prosperous Panchayati Raj Campaign' will be implemented in the state. It has been decided to give incentive awards to Gram Panchayats, Panchayat Samitis, and District Councils that have done excellent work in this campaign.

Approval on these 8 decisions -

1. The 'Chief Minister Prosperous Panchayati Raj Campaign' will be implemented in the state. A decision to give incentive awards to Gram Panchayats, Panchayat Samitis, and Zilla Parishads that have done excellent work in the campaign. A total of 1,902 awards will be given.

2. Under the 'Umed' - Maharashtra State Rural Livelihood Mission, 'Umed Mall' (District Sales Center) will be established in 10 districts. A dedicated market will be available for products made by women's self-help groups in rural areas of the state.

3. Effective implementation of the 'E-NAM' scheme. A national recognized market yard will be established. Approval to amend the Maharashtra Agricultural Produce Marketing (Development and Regulation) Act, 1963 to regulate agricultural produce market committees.

4. Special courts will be established in Gondia, Ratnagiri, and Washim to resolve cases of atrocities against women.

5. Establishment of two courts at Pimpri-Chinchwad (Dist. Pune) - District and Additional Sessions Court and Civil Court at senior level. Approval has been given for positions in these courts.

6. Approval of a provision of 231 crore 69 lakh rupees for the renovation of the dam and distribution system under the special repair of the Bor Major Project (Tal. Selu) in Wardha district.

7. Approval of a provision of 197 crore 27 lakh rupees for the renovation of the dam and distribution system under the special repair of the Dham Medium Project (Tal. Arvi) in Wardha district.

8. Approval has been given to provide land at Mouje Kalwa in Thane district to the Maharashtra and Goa Bar Council, Mumbai for establishing an Advocate Academy.
