A video has gone viral on social media showing two intoxicated young women creating a public nuisance on the busy Mahavir Chowk road in the Waluj area of Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar. The incident occurred around 9 PM on Saturday, drawing shock and concern from local residents.
According to eyewitnesses, the women were visibly drunk and verbally abusing passersby, creating a scene on the road. One of the women, in an aggressive tone, was heard justifying her behavior by saying, “I drank because I was tense... We come from a big family.” She further threatened citizens, saying, “My brother is a don, he commits murders… even the police can’t do anything to us.”
Despite attempts by bystanders to calm them down, the duo continued to hurl abuses and disrupt public order, leading to panic and unrest in the area. Several locals contacted the Waluj Police, who arrived promptly at the scene and brought the situation under control.
Police officials confirmed that legal action is being taken against both women, and that investigations are underway. Authorities are using CCTV footage, eyewitness statements, and on-ground reports to build the case.
The incident has sparked concern among citizens regarding the law and order situation in the city, especially with such behavior taking place openly in a crowded public area. Police have assured strict action and emphasized that such public misconduct will not be tolerated.
The video, which has now gone viral across platforms, has ignited a wider conversation online about public safety, substance abuse, and civic responsibility.
