Due to road widening work in Bhiwandi city, the demolition of dangerous buildings is in full swing at various places. The municipal corporation has relocated citizens from extremely dangerous buildings to safe places, and many buildings in the city have been demolished. In one such incident, while the corporation was demolishing a dangerous building in Ward No. 4 at Bhandari Compound, it suddenly collapsed. Fortunately, there was no loss of life in this accident, as the building was completely uninhabited.
Under the Bhiwandi Municipal Corporation's road widening project, many dangerous buildings in the city have been identified, and their demolition work has been undertaken. This building at Bhandari Compound had already been declared extremely dangerous and was completely vacated. While demolition was underway with the corporation's JCB machine, a part of the building suddenly collapsed, causing dust and smoke to rise at the site. Fortunately, no citizens or workers were injured.
