The issue of pollution has once again come into discussion in Dombivli. Information has emerged that the road has turned pink once again. This is an incident from MIDC Phase 2. MIDC officials and MPCB officials are neglecting it.
In Dombivli, which is always in discussion due to pollution from chemical companies, a pink road was seen. There are many chemical companies in Dombivli MIDC, and because of this, the residents of Dombivli always have to endure pollution. A few years ago, there was green rain and orange oil-mixed rain in Dombivli. Now, due to chemicals, the entire MIDC road has turned pink.
It has also been observed that there is a large amount of chemicals in the drains beside the road. Locals have reported that this chemical is emitting a stench. In 2020, this pink road issue was raised. As a result, the then Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray took notice. Now, after 5 years, this issue has come up again, and the question arises whether the officials will pay attention?
