In a significant move set to redefine electric mobility in India, JSW MG Motor India has launched the all-new MG Windsor EV Pro, an upgraded version of its best-selling electric vehicle. The standout feature of this model is its Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) technology, which effectively transforms the car into a mobile power station or kitchen on wheels.

With the innovative V2L technology, users can draw power directly from the car’s battery to run a range of electronic appliances. From induction cooktops, microwave ovens, coffee machines, and LED lights to laptops and mobile devices, the Windsor EV Pro can power them all—anytime, anywhere. Impressively, the vehicle can even charge another electric car, making it ideal for road trips, camping, and emergency use.

Under the hood, the MG Windsor EV Pro is equipped with a 52.9 kWh battery pack, offering improved range and efficiency. The car also boasts modern safety features, including Level-2 Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS). In terms of design, it inherits stylish elements like alloy wheels and an electric tailgate, similar to those seen in the popular MG Hector.

The introductory ex-showroom price for the Windsor EV Pro starts at ₹17.49 lakh. However, customers opting for the “Battery as a Service” model can purchase the vehicle at a reduced price of ₹12.49 lakh. This offer was made available to the first 8,000 customers, with all bookings filled within just 24 hours. The current price has reportedly increased by approximately ₹60,000.

Company officials stated that the inclusion of V2L technology marks a milestone in future mobility, offering a practical, flexible solution for off-grid living and sustainable travel.

The MG Windsor EV Pro is not just a car—it’s a power hub on wheels, bringing innovation, convenience, and functionality to the growing EV segment in India.
