Significant Drop in Bullion Market; Silver Cheaper by 12,225 Rupees, Gold Prices Also Down

Today, there has been a significant drop in the prices of gold and silver in the bullion market. The price of silver has decreased by a substantial 12,225 rupees, and gold has also become cheaper by 1,232 rupees. Today, the price of silver without GST is 2,35,775 rupees per kilogram. Including GST, this price is 2,42,848 rupees per kilogram. On Wednesday, the price of silver without GST was 2,48,000 rupees.

The price of gold has also decreased. The price of 24-carat gold without GST is 1,35,443 rupees per tola. With GST, this price is 1,39,506 rupees. On Wednesday, this price was 1,36,675 rupees. On December 29, gold was at a high of 1,38,181 rupees. Compared to that, today gold is cheaper by 2,718 rupees. The price of 23-carat gold has decreased by 1,227 rupees to 1,34,901 rupees per tola. With GST, this price is 1,38,948 rupees.

The price of 22-carat gold has fallen by 1,128 rupees to 1,24,066 rupees per tola. With GST, this price is 1,27,787 rupees. The price of 18-carat gold has decreased by 924 rupees to 1,01,582 rupees per tola.

The price of 14-carat gold today is 79,234 rupees per tola. Meanwhile, the India Bullion Jewelers Association announces prices twice daily. These prices are announced at 12 noon and 5 pm. There can be a difference of 1,000 to 2,000 rupees between IBJA's rates and the actual market rates.
