For those aspiring to secure a government job, Indian Railways has announced a major recruitment drive, offering a golden opportunity for unemployed youth. The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has officially released a notification for the RRB Technician Recruitment 2025, inviting applications for a total of 6,238 technician posts across the country.

This recruitment drive opens promising job opportunities, especially in the technical sector. The vacancies include:

  • 183 posts for Technician Grade-I (Signal)

  • 6,055 posts for Technician Grade-III

Candidates who have passed Class 10 and hold ITI certifications in relevant trades are eligible to apply for certain posts. The application process has officially begun today, June 28, and will remain open for a period of one month. Applicants who wish to make corrections in their submitted applications will be allowed to do so from August 1 to August 10, 2025. Interested candidates can apply online through the official Railway Recruitment Board website: rrbapply.gov.in.

Application Fees:

  • Rs 250 for candidates belonging to SC, ST, PwD, Women, Transgender, and EWS categories

  • Rs 500 for candidates from other categories

Salary Details:

  • Technician Grade-I: ₹29,200 per month (including DA, HRA, and travel allowance)

  • Technician Grade-III: ₹19,900 per month

Selection Process:

Candidates will be selected through a multi-stage process consisting of:

  1. Computer-Based Test (CBT)

  2. Document Verification

  3. Medical Fitness Test
