Ashwini Bidre Case: Accused Abhay Kurundkar in Ashwini Bidre case gets life imprisonment

The hearing of this murder case, which took place on April 11, 2016, was going on in the Panvel Sessions Court for about 7 years. The court has examined about 80 witnesses in this case. The main accused in this murder case, dismissed senior police inspector Abhay Kurundkar, was convicted by the court. 5 people including Kurundkar were arrested in this murder case. Abhay Kurundkar, the accused in the Ashwini Bidre case, has been sentenced to life imprisonment. It has also been revealed that the seven-year sentences of the other two accused, Mahesh Phalnikar and Kundan Bhandari, have been completed and they will be released.
