The case of a female doctor working at the Phaltan sub-district hospital in Satara district committing suicide has caused a stir across the state. A shocking detail has emerged in this incident, revealing that the doctor wrote the names of two individuals responsible for her death on her hand before committing suicide. The doctor has made serious allegations of sexual abuse and mental harassment against these two individuals.

Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has obtained information about this incident from the Satara district police superintendent and has ordered the immediate suspension of the concerned officer. He has also instructed strict action against the accused. Accordingly, police officer Gopal Badne has been suspended.

Satara Superintendent of Police Tushar Doshi stated that a case has been registered against PSI Gopal Badne and civilian Prashant Bankar in this matter. Two separate police teams have been dispatched to arrest the accused, and the investigation is proceeding swiftly.

State Women's Commission Chairperson Rupali Chakankar described the incident as “extremely outrageous.” She said, “It is highly condemnable for a protector to commit such an inhumane act. The strictest action should be taken against the accused.”

Meanwhile, Minister of State for Home Pankaj Bhoyar has also ordered the Satara police to immediately file a case and take legal action. He warned, “No one found guilty in this incident will be spared.”
