It has been reported that the victim girl pressured her boyfriend to marry her. The accused, along with his father's friend's friend, killed the victim girl and stuffed her body in a sack and threw it in the river. The police have taken the body into custody and three accused have been arrested.

According to the information received, Kajol Gupta and Rajkumar Varhi (age 24) are originally from Nepal and were in a love relationship. Kajol was pursuing Rajkumar for marriage. Due to which an argument started between the two. Rajkumar hatched a plot to kill Kajol. Rajkumar hatched a conspiracy to kill Kajol with the help of his father's friend Suresh Singh (age 50) who lives in Silvassa and driver Balaji Waghmare (age 34).

Rajkumar brought Kajol to Silvassa from Nepal under the pretext of a tour. After that, the father and his friend took the victim to the Mahalaxmi temple in Dahanu in Palghar district and the Trimbakeshwar area in Nashik. While returning from Nashik, Kajol was strangled to death with a rope in the forest of Mokhada and her body was stuffed in a sack. Then, they threw it in the river of Ghatkapada village on the Nashik road.

On April 1, a woman's body was found in a bag in the Wagh River in Mokhada area of Palghar. The police registered a case of murder and started the investigation. At that time, SM28 was written on the bag. Based on that number, the police investigated the case. It was revealed that this number belongs to a wholesale market that carries peas. After further investigation, the police have taken three people into custody in the case. The police are investigating the case further.
