Sensational Allegation by Suspended Officer Ranjit Kasle: “Received Offer for Encounter from Dhananjay Munde”
In a shocking development that has sparked political and public outrage, suspended Beed police officer Ranjit Kasle has made a sensational claim alleging that he was offered money to carry out an extrajudicial killing. In a viral video, Kasle claimed he was approached with a proposal to eliminate Valmik Karad — the prime accused in the murder of Santosh Deshmukh, Sarpanch of Massajog village.
Kasle alleged that the offer to conduct the encounter came directly from senior political figure and Maharashtra minister Dhananjay Munde. According to him, he was offered staggering sums of ₹5 crore, ₹10 crore, and eventually ₹50 crore to kill Karad.
At the time of the alleged proposal, Kasle served as a police inspector in the cyber department of Beed district. He was suspended recently, after which he began releasing a series of explosive statements through social media platforms.
His most recent claim has intensified the controversy surrounding the case. The video in which he makes these allegations against Dhananjay Munde has since gone viral, sparking widespread discussion and debate.
Allegations Against Dhananjay Munde
In a fresh video that surfaced on social media, Kasle directly targeted Dhananjay Munde, suggesting that the latter wanted Valmik Karad silenced to prevent the exposure of certain secrets.
“Valmik Karad was not wanted by Dhananjay Munde — he was feared. Karad was going to expose the inner workings and activities of Dhananjay Munde,” Kasle stated in the video.
He further added, “I openly challenge the Maharashtra Police to arrest me. I have served in the cyber division and I am ready to stand by my claims.”
Political Fallout and Public Reaction
The allegations have sent shockwaves through the political landscape in Maharashtra. While Dhananjay Munde has yet to respond to the accusations publicly, opposition parties and civil society have begun demanding a thorough investigation into the matter.
The Maharashtra Police have also not issued an official statement on the claims made by Kasle, nor have they confirmed if an inquiry will be initiated.
As the video continues to circulate widely, questions loom large over the implications of Kasle’s allegations and what further developments might unfold in this already controversial case.
