Satara Doctor Suicide Case : New Turn in Doctor Suicide Case! Links to Another Suicide?
In the sensitive atmosphere created by the suicide of a female doctor at the Phaltan sub-district hospital, the thread of a married woman's death is now being linked. The family of Dipali Pachangane, a married woman from Wathar Nimbalkar, has expressed the possibility that this case is related to her suicide. Her parents have also alleged that the post-mortem report of Dipali's death was deliberately altered.
Dipali was married to military officer Ajinkya Nimbalkar in 2021. According to her family, she had to endure constant mental and physical harassment after the marriage. On August 19, 2025, the police concluded that Dipali committed suicide by hanging. However, her mother, Bhagyashree Pachangane, has submitted a statement to Additional Superintendent of Police Vaishali Kadavkar, seeking the truth to come out in this case.
According to Bhagyashree's claim, the female doctor who prepared Dipali's post-mortem report was the same doctor who recently committed suicide. This has deepened the mystery surrounding both deaths. In their opinion, political pressure and police consensus have attempted to conceal the truth.
Meanwhile, the suspended PSI Gopal Badne, accused of assaulting the doctor, presented himself to the police on Saturday night. The court has sentenced him to five days of police custody. In the message written on her hand before committing suicide, the doctor mentioned that Badne repeatedly sexually assaulted her, and that the landlord's son, Prashant Bankar, had mentally and physically harassed her over the past few months.
Due to all these incidents, the investigation has entered a more serious phase, and the police machinery is facing the difficult challenge of uncovering the truth. Only after further inquiry will the real reasons behind both deaths become clear.
