Washim Crime: Washim Railway Station Woman Murder Case, Police Successfully Arrest Accused in Incident

Police have achieved significant success in the case of the brutal murder of an unidentified woman by stoning in the Washim railway station area. The accused in this incident has been arrested by Washim police, and he has confessed to raping the woman and then murdering her. However, the final conclusion in this case will only be clear after the post-mortem report, according to the police.

Yesterday afternoon, the body of an unidentified woman aged around 45 to 50 was found in the Washim railway station area, causing a stir throughout the district. The woman's head was crushed with a stone, and it was initially clear that she was murdered in a very brutal manner. At the scene, the police found liquor bottles, a pant belt, and food items. Therefore, it was speculated that the woman might have been sexually assaulted first and then murdered with the intent to destroy evidence.

While investigating this serious case, Washim police have arrested the accused Santosh Ramrao Khandare. During police interrogation, the accused confessed to raping and murdering the woman. The accused has been arrested and the post-mortem process is currently underway. Official information regarding the rape and murder will be clarified only after the post-mortem report is received.
