Raid 2 Box Office Collection: Ajay Devgn’s ‘This’ Movie Creates a Stir on Opening Day; Here’s How Much It Earned

Ajay Devgn's 'Red 2' was booked a day before its release. Red 2 has earned Rs 10 crore on its first day. Given the increasing bookings, it was expected that the film would open between Rs 13-15 crore. But the way the film performed at the box office on Thursday is much higher than expected.

More than 2 lakh 20 thousand tickets were booked in advance for Ajay's film. Due to this strong booking, the film earned more than Rs 6.5 crore in advance. In such a situation, it was believed that the net opening of 'Raid-2' could go up to around Rs 15 crore.

'Red 2' has become the third biggest Bollywood opening film of the year, followed by Vicky Kaushal's 'Chhawa' which collected Rs 33 crore and Salman Khan's 'Sikander' which collected Rs 27.5 crore.
