There is currently uncertainty over the release of the film 'Ajeya: The Untold Story of a Yogi', based on the life of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. As the film has not yet received a certificate from the Censor Board, the producers have directly approached the Mumbai High Court. A hearing was recently held in the Mumbai High Court in this matter. The Censor Board has promised to make a decision within two days. Therefore, the film is likely to be released on August 1.

This film is based on the book 'The Monk Who Became Chief Minister'. The filmmakers applied for certification almost a month in advance. However, as no decision was made in time by the censor board, they approached the court. The petition alleges that the censor board has asked for a "No Objection Certificate" (NOC) from the Uttar Pradesh government, which is not in the rules.

The court reacted strongly to this and instructed the censor board to make a decision within the stipulated time. Now, with a final decision expected in two days, the path for the film's release is likely to be cleared. 'Ajeya: The Untold Story of a Yogi' is awaiting certification from the censor board.
