Salman Khan Receives Another Death Threat: Bomb Threat Sent to Worli Traffic Police via WhatsApp

Salman, who is travelling under tight security, has been threatened with a bomb blast.

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has once again found himself at the center of a serious security scare. According to recent reports, the actor has received a fresh death threat, warning of a bomb attack on his car and a planned break-in at his Bandra residence.

This alarming message was sent via WhatsApp to the Worli Traffic Department, prompting immediate police action. The Worli Police have registered a case against an unidentified person under relevant sections and have launched an investigation.

Background: Ongoing Threats from Bishnoi Gang

Salman Khan has been under high-security protection for the past several months, following a gunfire incident outside his Galaxy Apartments residence in Bandra. The Bishnoi gang had claimed responsibility for the attack, linking it to past grievances against the actor.

Notably, Salman has faced threats ever since his alleged involvement in the blackbuck poaching case during the filming of Hum Saath Saath Hain in Rajasthan. The Bishnoi community considers the blackbuck sacred, and this incident has reportedly fueled longstanding hostility from the Bishnoi gang.

Increased Security Measures at Galaxy Apartments

In response to the recent threats, Mumbai Police had already upgraded Salman’s security. Bulletproof glass panels were installed in his residence, and he now travels under Z+ category security, with a convoy of armed personnel at all times.

The latest threat has only heightened concerns. The message reportedly stated that Salman would be killed by breaking into his home and his vehicle would be blown up using explosives.

Wider Threat Landscape: Celebrities Under Attack

This is not the first time high-profile figures have been targeted. Baba Siddiqui, a former NCP MLA and a close associate of Salman Khan, was recently murdered, with the Bishnoi gang claiming responsibility. Shortly afterward, both Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan received death threats, raising alarm within the film and political fraternity.

Investigation Underway

The Mumbai Police have intensified surveillance and are using cybercrime teams to trace the origin of the WhatsApp threat. The authorities are also reviewing CCTV footage and increasing police presence around Salman Khan’s residence and shooting locations.

Officials urge the public not to spread panic but to remain vigilant. Meanwhile, Salman Khan has not yet issued an official statement regarding the recent threat.
