The popular Indian web series Panchayat has enjoyed massive success across all its seasons. Directed by Deepak Kumar Mishra and Akshay Vijayvargiya, and written by Chandan Kumar, the show has now returned with its fourth season—Panchayat Season 4—featuring the much-loved cast reprising their iconic roles. The ensemble includes Neena Gupta, Raghubir Yadav, Jitendra Kumar, Faisal Malik, Chandan Roy, Sanvikaa, Durgesh Kumar, Sunita Rajwar, and Pankaj Jha. Playing the central character Abhishek Tripathi, famously known as Secretary Ji, Jitendra Kumar has reportedly charged ₹70,000 per episode for Season 4. With eight episodes in total, this makes him the highest paid actor in the cast, earning around ₹5.6 lakh for the season.
Veteran actress Neena Gupta, who plays Manju Devi, the elected Pradhan of Phulera village, earned ₹50,000 per episode. Her on-screen husband Raghubir Yadav, portraying Brijbhushan Dubey or the Pradhan-Pati, charged ₹40,000 per episode.
Faisal Malik, known for his role as Prahlad Chacha, and Chandan Roy, who plays Vikas, the Panchayat Development Officer, both reportedly received ₹20,000 per episode. Despite the vast difference in fees, all actors have been widely praised for their performances and contribution to the series' success. As Panchayat 4 continues to trend, fans are now eagerly awaiting updates about a potential fifth season.
