India-France: A New Chapter in India-France Friendship; Modi-Macron Announce Enhanced Cooperation

A new chapter in India-France friendship was written in Mumbai today. Narendra Modi and French President Emmanuel Macron expressed their determination to enhance cooperation between the two countries at a joint press conference.

Prime Minister Modi referred to France as a trusted friend of India and emphasized working together in technology, startups, small industries, and critical mineral sectors. The announcement was also made to establish joint centers for artificial intelligence, health, and digital research. He clarified that both countries are committed to maintaining peace globally.

Macron also shared information about major decisions in the defense and energy sectors. He mentioned that significant agreements have been made regarding military cooperation, modern aircraft, and maritime security. This visit is expected to give new momentum to India-France relations and strengthen the partnership between the two countries.
