Following the recent Pahalgam terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir, India has responded with force through Operation Sindoor, targeting and destroying multiple terrorist camps across the border. In retaliation, Pakistan launched a series of provocative and unprovoked attacks on Indian territory, escalating tensions between the two nuclear-armed neighbors.

Despite intense hostilities over the past three days, both nations agreed to a ceasefire yesterday evening, reportedly at the behest of the United States. However, within just four hours of the agreement, Pakistan violated the ceasefire, triggering a fresh wave of military action.

Late last night, several regions across Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, and Rajasthan reported drone activity originating from across the border. A complete blackout was observed in nine cities in Punjab, indicating the seriousness of the situation. Despite the sudden offensive, Indian forces responded decisively, including a retaliatory drone strike that has reportedly caused massive damage to Pakistani military infrastructure.

For the first time since the conflict began, the scale of damage suffered by Pakistan has come to light. According to sources, seven of Pakistan’s airbases have been destroyed, including five primary airbases and two radar installations. The affected bases are Noor Khan Airbase, Rawalpindi Airbase, Rahim Yar Khan, Mustafabad, Murid, and Rafiqui Airbase.

In addition to airbase destruction, Pakistani fighter jets have suffered severe damage, and several drone launch pads have been wiped out. Early estimates suggest that weapons and military equipment worth thousands of crores have been destroyed in these retaliatory strikes. As the situation remains tense, both countries are on high alert, and international efforts for de-escalation are reportedly ongoing.
