Israel-Hamas : "Attack Gaza with full force"; Netanyahu's order
In Brief
''Attack Gaza with full force...''
Netanyahu ordered the military!
The situation in the Middle East is more tense after the new order
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Tuesday ordered the Israeli military to launch a full-scale and immediate attack on the Gaza Strip. Israel has accused the Palestinian militant organization Hamas of violating the ceasefire agreement, following which this decision was made.
A few days ago, a ceasefire agreement was reached between Israel and Hamas through American mediation. However, Israel claimed that their forces were fired upon by Hamas in southern Gaza. Following this, Netanyahu held a meeting with security officials and instructed the military to carry out powerful and immediate attacks on targets in the Gaza Strip.
The statement from Netanyahu's office said, “After consulting on security matters, the Prime Minister has ordered immediate and powerful action against targets in Gaza.”
According to the ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas, Hamas was supposed to return the bodies of 28 hostages to Israel. However, on Monday night, Hamas handed over the remains of one body to Israel. Israel's forensic examination found that these remains belonged to the same person whose body had already been returned to Israel. Therefore, Israel deemed this a clear violation of the agreement and reacted angrily.
On the other hand, Hamas has rejected Israel's accusations, claiming that it is Israel that has violated the ceasefire agreement. Hamas's military wing has stated that due to ongoing airstrikes by Israel and violations of the agreement's terms, they have postponed the process of returning the hostages' bodies.
These events have once again raised the possibility of the Israel-Hamas conflict flaring up. Military movements have accelerated in the Gaza area, creating an atmosphere of fear among the citizens. The United States and the United Nations have called for restraint on both sides, but Israel has taken a firm stance that necessary actions will be taken for the safety of its citizens. Despite efforts for a ceasefire, the conflict between Israel and Hamas has not ended. After Netanyahu's new orders, it is predicted that the situation in the Middle East may become more tense.
