Pakistani spy arrested in Delhi Navy Bhavan; Security agencies in a state of panic

A major security breach has been uncovered in the heart of the nation's capital. A Pakistani spy has been arrested from the Naval Headquarters (Naudal Bhavan) in Delhi. The accused, identified as Vishal Yadav, was working as an Upper Division Clerk (UDC) at the Dockyard Directorate in the Navy Building. He has been arrested by the Intelligence Branch of the Rajasthan Police under the Official Secrets Act, 1923.

The arrest, carried out on June 25, has sent shockwaves through the country’s security agencies. Vishal Yadav, a resident of Punsika village in Rewari district, Haryana, was allegedly engaged in espionage activities on behalf of Pakistan’s intelligence agency.

Social Media Trap: Spy’s Link with Female Handler

According to CID Security Inspector General Vishnukant Gupta, the Rajasthan CID Intelligence has been closely monitoring espionage activities linked to Pakistani intelligence networks. During their surveillance, they discovered that Yadav was in regular contact with a female handler from Pakistan through social media platforms.

The woman, using the alias Toppanav Priya Sharma, is believed to be a fictitious identity created by Pakistani intelligence to trap Indian officials. Through this online interaction, Vishal Yadav was allegedly manipulated into leaking strategically sensitive and classified naval information.

Financial Motive and Online Gaming Addiction

Initial investigations revealed that Vishal Yadav had a habit of playing online games and was under financial stress. In exchange for secret naval information, he reportedly received payments from Pakistani handlers in cryptocurrency (USDT), which were later converted and transferred to his personal bank account.

Serious National Security Concern

This arrest highlights a growing concern about how enemy agencies are exploiting social media and online platforms to infiltrate Indian security establishments. The use of psychological manipulation, financial temptation, and digital anonymity makes such tactics highly effective and dangerous.

Security agencies are now conducting an in-depth investigation to uncover the full extent of the data leaked and to identify other possible individuals involved in the espionage ring. The case serves as a stark reminder of the evolving methods being used in modern intelligence warfare.
