A major terrorist attack has come to light in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. In this attack, it has been reported that as soon as the terrorists asked for names, they started firing indiscriminately as soon as the name of a Hindu came up. The terrorists showed their cruelty by asking the name of a tourist. Many tourists and many local citizens have been injured in this attack.

According to the information received, the terrorists who attacked this time came in the guise of policemen. Due to this, the locals as well as the tourists did not have any idea that they could be terrorists. After this incident, all the senior officers including the IG and DIG reached the spot.

TRF has claimed responsibility for the attack. It has been reported that Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha have left for Srinagar in the wake of the terrorist attack. In this context, Prime Minister Modi along with Home Minister Amit Shah have posted on X expressing grief over the terrorist attack in Pahalgam.
