Income Tax Department Simultaneous Raids at 200 Locations Nationwide

The Income Tax Department has conducted a swift operation, carrying out simultaneous raids at 200 locations across the country. These raids have been conducted in Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Delhi, Gujarat, Punjab, Madhya Pradesh, and Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, and it is likely that strict action will be taken against many people for tax evasion.

The Income Tax Department's operations are underway at various locations across the country. The Income Tax Department in the country has become active and has conducted raids at nearly 200 locations simultaneously in different cities. This action has been taken against organizations and individuals involved in tax evasion by committing fraud in IT returns. It has been reported that many individuals and organizations are on the radar of the Income Tax Department in cases of tax evasion.

This raid by the Income Tax Department also includes a CA firm in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar. An inquiry lasting about 17 hours was conducted at a firm here. The firm is suspected of evading taxes amounting to 300 crores under Section 80G, which provides tax exemption for donations. As a result, the Income Tax Department has taken this matter seriously and initiated swift action across the country.
