IMD Weather Update: Triple threat! Meteorological Department's warning of heavy rain, danger in Maharashtra too

The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an unseasonal rain warning for north-west India for the next 48 hours. Due to two active western disturbances, there is a possibility of heavy rain along with significant snowfall in Jammu and Kashmir.
On February 6, a dense fog warning has been issued for Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Madhya Pradesh, and Bihar, and visibility will be reduced in Himachal Pradesh on February 7 due to fog. Caution has been advised as winds are expected to blow at a speed of 20 to 30 km/h.
According to the IMD forecast, there is a risk of rain again in Jammu and Kashmir between February 9 and 11. Heavy rain will occur in Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Arunachal Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Madhya Pradesh on February 6-7. Some areas will face the triple threat of wind, rain, and snowfall.
Although there is no rain warning in Maharashtra, there will be a change in temperature. Heat will increase in Mumbai, Konkan, and Marathwada, and the temperature will rise by 1-2 degrees Celsius. The weather will remain dry in Vidarbha, while cold will persist in other areas. The intense heat will be felt from mid-February. Citizens should check the weather report and exercise caution.
